Getting There: How to Reach Jandía Playa
By hire car on Fuerteventura, head south from Puerto del Rosario along the FV-2. The route passes Caleta de Fuste, Tarajalejo and Costa Calma – Jandía Playa lies approximately 17 kilometres beyond Costa Calma. For those preferring the bus: Lines 1, 4 and 5 serve the starting point, while Playa Barca is served by Line 5. Current timetables are best checked on the official schedules.
Playa de Butihondo – the First Beach Section

It is no coincidence that the 25th Fuerteventura Surfing World Championship was held here as far back as 2010 – the Playas de Sotavento are regarded as one of the finest surfing and kite-surfing venues in Europe.
